Luke Ritter (’08), who earned his bachelor’s degree in history at Lindenwood in 2008, will publish his book, Inventing America’s First Immigration Crisis: Political Nativism in the Antebellum West, in fall 2020

Dr. Geremy Carnes, associate professor of English in the School of Humanities, had his essay, “Doctor Who’s Shaken Faith in Science: Mistrusting Science from the Gothic to the Neo-Gothic,” published in the scholarly collection Neo-Gothic Narratives: Illusory Allusions to the Past (Anthem Press, 2020).

The work and career of the late Paul Samuelson, long-time MIT professor of economics is reviewed in a recent volume of 22 papers co-edited by Hammond Institute Senior Research fellow Richard G. Anderson (Ph.D, MIT, 1980); William A. Barnett, Oswald Distinguished Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Kansas (B.S., MIT, 1963); and Robert A. Cord in London, formerly of Canterbury University (UK), published by Palgrave Macmillan.
